ATLANTA - Hendrix dropped a pair of dual matches, each by a score of 6-3, to Oglethorpe (Ga.) in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) action and Covenant (Ga.) on Saturday at Downing Howell Tennis Courts. 

Against the Stormy Petrels, Eleanor Burks and Greer Ayers won in No. 1 doubles, 8-2. Sarah Morris and Emma Self of Hendrix (6-7, 0-2 SAA) won in No. 3 doubles, 8-4.

Burks swept No. 1 singles by scores of 6-4 and 6-2.

Oglethorpe (5-5, 1-1 SAA) swept five singles matches. 

Against the Scots, Burks and Ayers won in No. 1 doubles, 8-7 (7-5). 

In No. 1 singles, Burks won in straight sets, 7-6 and 6-0. Ayers swept No. 2 singles, 6-2 and 6-4.

Covenant (8-7) won four singles matches in straight sets.

The Warriors continue league play Sunday at Berry (Ga.). First serve is set for 8 a.m. CT.
