JONESBORO, Ark. - Three Hendrix throwers competed on the first day of the Red Wolves Open, hosted by Arkansas State on its Track and Field Complex.

Madelyn Klinkerman, the reigning Southern Athletic Association Field Athlete of the Week, placed eighth in the hammer after a throw of 44.15 meters. Alivia Allen was 24th after a toss of 30.52 meters. Ashley Juniewicz finished 26th after a throw of 16.92 meters.

The meet concludes Saturday starting at 10 a.m. CT.
