CONWAY, Ark. - Centre (Ky.) defeated Hendrix, 7-0, on Saturday in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) action Saturday at Central Arkansas' tennis courts.

In No. 2 doubles, Emma Self and Avery Stephens of Hendrix (6-9, 0-4 SAA) won five games.

In No. 2 singles, the Warriors' Greer Ayers won three games in the first set.

Centre (10-8, 3-1 SAA), ranked No. 10 in the region, won four singles matches in straight sets.

Prior to the dual match, Ayers, Lauren Berry, Sarah Morris and Kashti Shah were honored as part of Senior Day festivities.

Hendrix hosts No. 7 Sewanee (Tenn.) in its final home dual match Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.
