SEARCY, Ark. - Hendrix competed in the Bison Open, hosted by Division II Harding (Ark.), on Saturday at First Security Stadium.

The Warriors' Victoria Ortega was fourth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase in a time of 13:38.80. Rachel Woppman took 12th in the 100 meter hurdles in 19.42 seconds and 13th in the 400 meter hurdles in 1:23.67. Tali Ramirez was 17th in the 5,000 meters in 20:54.06. Margaret Sampson-Green finished 23rd in the 800 meters in 3:28.90, while Emma Sampson-Green was 24th in a time of 3:32.02. 

Hendrix's Madelyn Klinkerman took fourth in the discus after a throw of 41.37 meters, and Alivia Allen was ninth after a throw of 38.39 meters. Klinkerman was sixth in the hammer after a throw of 41.90 meters, Allen was 13th after a toss of 33.30 meters and Ashley Juniewicz was 19th after a throw of 18.02 meters. Allen was 12th in the shot put after a toss of 11.23 meters. 

Hendrix takes part in the Rhodes (Tenn.) 7-Way Meet on April 15 starting at 11 a.m. CT.
