Conway, Ark.- The Warriors Women's Tennis Team hosted LeTourneau on Thursday evening and put together a dominant performance. The Warriors took all three doubles matches and four of six singles matches.
Eleanor Burks and Avery Stephens took the doubles match on Court 1 by a score of 8-3. Josie Leffingwell and Emma Self secured an 8-7 win via a tie breaker, winning the tie breaker 7-4. McKenzie McCready and Ayden Huckelbury won their match 8-4. Hendrix led 3-0 moving into the singles contests.
Avery Stephens was dominant, winning both sets by a wide margin, 6-3 and 6-0 respectively. Emma Self won two hard fought sets against stiff competition by scores of 7-5 and 6-4. Josie Leffingwell overpowered LeTourneau's #3, 6-2 and 6-0. Ayden Huckelbury secured a 10-6 win in the third set following splitting the first two sets 6-2 and 4-6 respectively.
The team advances to 5-6 overall. They will take on University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas on Tuesday 3/21.
