Kenosha, Wis. - Hendrix took to the road for the program's third-ever contest with the Carthage Firebirds on Saturday.
Maximus LaMendola opened up the scoring with an unassisted goal, but it was all Carthage after that. The Firebirds netted the game's next 13 goals to take a 17-5 lead into halftime.
Hendrix would score 6 goals in the second-half, but were unable to catch up to the hosts, who ended the afternoon 25-13 winners.
Spencer Dorfneilsen entered program history on Saturday afternoon. The 5th-year senior finished with 6 points, taking his career tally to 204 points, which is now the all-time program record for career points. The record was previously held by Cameron Millstone (2011-2014) at 202 points.
LaMendola led the Warriors in scoring with 6 goals. The junior also provided 4 assists to take his total point tally to 10.
Hendrix will now head to Chicago for a non-conference tilt with Illinois Tech. It will be the first-ever matchup between the two sides.
