Danville Ky. - Hendrix traveled to Danville for a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) matchup with the Centre Colonels.

Centre netted 5 goals in the game's opening seven minutes before Peyton Refling's unassisted goal at the 7:35 mark to put Hendrix on the board.

The Colonels would then score nine unanswered to take a 14-1 lead into halftime.

Hendrix got second-half goals from Brenna Kuenzi and Alaina Palmer, as well as three more from Refling, but that would not be enough to match a high-flying Colonel offense.

Refling's 4 goals on Saturday take her to 25 on the season. The freshman phenom leads the SAA in goals per game (4.17) and is currently second in points per game (5.83).

Alexis Williams recorded 12 saves on Saturday. She carries a 46.9% save percentage through five games, which ranks second in the SAA.

Hendrix's defense caused 18 turnovers and scooped up 10 ground balls, Palmer responsible for two of those ground balls.

The Warriors will look for their first SAA win of the season when they head to Rome, Ga. on March 25 for a conference tilt with the Berry Vikings.
