Game Recap: Men's Lacrosse |

Men's Lacrosse Blows Past Hungtindon for 21-5 Win

Conway, Ark. - Hendrix Men's Lacrosse returned home after last week's Georgia road trip to host the Huntingdon Hawks at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium, racing out to a 13-1 lead at halftime en route to an emphatic 21-5 win.

Nine different players netted goals for the Warriors on Saturday afternoon as they peppered the Hawks' goal, putting 36 of 54 shots on target.

Klaus Rowan led all scorers with 8 total points (6 G, 2 A).

Patrick Richard and Maximus LaMendola each tallied 4 points.

Ian Domeika recorded 11 saves to earn the win and improve to 3-3 on the year.

Hendrix scooped up 13 ground balls on 17 Huntingdon turnovers, and held the Hawks to just 1-of-4 on extra-man opportunities.

Mike DeCaro was 16-24 on faceoffs. Matthew Parsons was 3-5.

Hendrix improves to 3-3 on the season and now embarks on a grueling stretch of the schedule that sees them on the road for their next six contests. They will begin conference play in Georgia on March 24 for a pair of SAA contests versus Berry and Oglethorpe, before returning home the following week to host the Sewanee Tigers.
