LaGrange, Ga. - Hendrix defeated LaGrange 16-12 on Friday evening in Georgia to stop a two-game losing skid.
Maximus LaMendola tallied a game-high six points on five goals and one assist.
Klaus Rowan and
Nick Quarles each added four points with seven goals between the two.
LaGrange scored the opening goal of the contest and four of the game's first six, but a strong second quarter propelled the Warriors into pole position as Rowan netted the go-ahead goal with 00:40 in the first half to give Hendrix a 8-7 lead going into halftime.
The Panthers retook the lead early in the second half, but the Warriors quickly responded with four unanswered goals to kick off a 7-2 run and take the lead for good down the stretch.
Ian Domeika earned the decision for his first win in the goal this season, recording seven saves.
Defensively, the Warriors caused nine turnovers and scooped up twenty-nine groundballs.
The win improves Hendrix to 1-2 on the year, and they will now head west for a non-conference matchup with Huntingdon on Sunday.
