Tavares, Fla. - Hendrix went 3-2 over the weekend at the AVCA Small College Beach Championships in an unsuccessful attempt to defend their 2023 crown.

The Warriors were slotted in Pool 2 as the #3 seed but suffered a 3-2 defeat in their opening match to 7th-seeded East Texas Baptist.

Hendrix responded with a convincing 3-0 win over Huntingdon, but lost 3-1 to Stevenson in their final match of Pool Play that relegated them to the Silver Pool for the final day of competition.

Ryan Havice's squad rebounded to win both matches in the Silver Pool on Sunday as they dispatched Huntingdon and Lynchburg in straight sets.
