Mount Berry, Ga. - Hendrix dropped their quarterfinal contest to Berry on Saturday afternoon in the first round of the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) playoffs.

The Warriors got on the board within the first 90 seconds as Bennett Davidson netted the opening goal.

With the score at 1-1 at the 11:40 mark, Maximus LaMendola retook the lead for the away side for a 2-1 lead. Berry would respond with four unanswered goals to take their first lead of the game.

LaMendola stopped the scoring run at 4-0 at the 8:24 mark in the second quarter with his second goal of the contest, but the Vikings once again went on a scoring run, closing out the first half with three unanswered goals to take an 8-3 lead into halftime.

Berry scored the opening two goals of the second half before Hendrix got back on the board with Davidson netting his second goal of the contest. LaMendola followed that goal up with his third of the contest just four minutes later to cut Berry's lead to 10-5, but Hendrix was unable to add on any more as Berry closed out the final period to see off the win.

Ian Domeika recorded 14 saves in goal for Hendrix.

Michael DeCaro finished the afternoon 4-of-19 on faceoffs.

With the quarterfinal loss, the Warriors close out the season with a 5-10 (1-5 SAA) record.
