Conway, Ark. - On Friday evening, the Hendrix Super Smash Bros. team capped an undefeated season with the team's first-ever SCAC championship.

Hendrix went through the regular season unscathed and maintained its perfection in the championship match with a victory over Colorado College. It is the Esports program's first SCAC title since the League of Legends team was crowned champions in 2022.

The team was composed of captain Mark Belmonte, Davin Barragan, Alex Hoyt, Connor Helmich, Theron Johnson, Coen Reeves, Blaine Reed, and Henry Simmons.
