Memphis, Tenn. - Hendrix was defeated 19-3 on Wednesday afternoon by Haverford in a neutral site contest hosted by Rhodes.
The Warriors found themselves down 8-0 at the end of the first quarter before
Joseph Davis got Hendrix on the board early in the second quarter. Hendrix surrendered five unanswered goals to end the half and trailed 13-1 going into halftime. Davis netted his second goal of the game early in the third period, but the Fords answered with another 5-0 scoring run to lead 18-2.
Jack Conley got in among the goals late in the fourth quarter, but that was all that the Warriors could muster offensively on the afternoon.
Michael DeCaro went 8-22 in the faceoff circle.
Ian Domeika made 15 saves in the cage.
The Warriors now return home and will host Ohio Northern on Friday for a 12:00 PM start at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium.
