Memphis, Tenn (March 8th, 2026) – The women made the drive over to Memphis to take on North Carolina Wesleyan, Rhodes and DePauw in a three-match weekend.
North Carolina Wesleyan, (L, 4-0):
Josie Leffingwell and
Evelyn Sandlin dropped a close match in the #1 doubles match 5-7.
Caroline Lasley and
Aysha Hosam would fall in the #2 match 2-6.
Kate Adcox and
Abigail Youngberg would claim the lone doubles match with a 6-4 win.
The Warriors would fail to win a singles match, dropping all three to fall 4-0.
Caroline Lasley would fall in the #1 matchup (1-6, 5-7).
Josie Leffingwell would drop the #2 matchup (2-6, 2-6).
Evelyn Sandlin would go down in the #3 matchup (1-6, 2-6).
Rhodes, (L, 6-1):
The Warriors looked to rebound in their match against Rhodes. The Warriors would drop all three doubles matchups to fall behind early.
Caroline Lasley would claim the lone singles win for the Warriors (2-6, 6-3).
DePauw, (L, 6-1):
Josie Leffingwell and
Evelyn Sandlin fell in the #1 doubles matchup 4-6.
Aysha Hosam and
Caroline Lasley would fall short in the #2 doubles matchup 2-6.
Kate Adcox and
Abigail Youngberg would claim the lone doubles match in the #3 doubles match with a 6-2 win.
In the singles matchups,
Aysha Hosam would claim the lone singles win in the #5 singles match (6-2, 6-4).
