Sherman, Texas (Aril11th, 2026) - The Warriors made their final regular season road trip to texas this weekend to take on The University of Dallas and Austin College. The Warriors emerged 2-0 from the weekend, sitting at 5-3 in SCAC play and 5th in SCAC standings.

University of Dallas (W, 5-1): 
Hendrix defeated the University of Dallas 5-1 on Friday, securing a decisive victory. The Warriors captured both doubles matches and won four out of five singles matches.

Hendrix secured the doubles point with decisive victories in both completed matches. Josie Leffingwell and Caroline Lasley delivered a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles over Avery Williams and Kathleen Roset. Aysha Hosam and Evelyn Sandlin followed with a commanding performance at No. 2 doubles, defeating Cecilia Webb and Evelyn Powell, 6-0.

In singles play, Dallas initially gained a point at No. 1 singles as Avery Williams edged Lasley in a tight three-set match, 6-4, 6-7, 7-5. The Warriors responded by taking control with wins in the following matches. Leffingwell outlasted Kathleen Roset at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-2, while Sandlin added another point for Hendrix with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Colette Asan at No. 3 singles.

Kate Adcox clinched the match for the Warriors at No. 4 singles with a hard-fought three-set win over Evelyn Powell, 6-3, 2-6, 7-5. Hosam rounded out the competition at No. 5 singles with a straight-set victory over Webb, 6-1, 6-1, bringing the final score to 5-1 in favor of Hendrix.

Hendrix secured a 5-2 victory over Austin College on Saturday. The Warriors clinched the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions and added four singles victories to seal the match.

Hendrix secured the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Josie Leffingwell and Caroline Lasley captured a 6-3 win over Olivia Sanchez and Emma Davidson at No. 1 doubles. The pair of Abigail Youngberg and Kate Adcox clinched the point with a 7-5 victory against Elizabeth Mojica and Abby Sadler at No. 3 doubles. Austin's duo, Lauren Hofeldt and Ashlyn Alexander, took a win at No. 2 doubles, defeating Evelyn Sandlin and Aysha Hosam 6-4.

In singles play, Hendrix extended its lead with Lasley's 6-4, 6-2 victory over Sanchez at No. 1 singles, followed by Leffingwell's commanding 6-1, 6-0 win against Hofeldt at No. 2 singles. Sandlin added another point for the Warriors at No. 3 singles, securing a 6-2, 6-4 win over Mojica. Hendrix clinched the dual match at No. 5 singles, where Hosam defeated Alexander 6-3, 6-2.

Austin responded with a win at No. 6 singles, where Lauren Walker overcame Youngberg 6-1, 3-6, 1-0. The final margin was completed with Austin's Davidson defeating Adcox 6-4, 7-6(4) at No. 4 singles. The overall result was a 5-2 victory for the Warriors.
