2019-20: Set the school record in the 50 yard breaststroke Feb. 14 (26.41), 100 yard individual medley Dec. 7 (23.39), 200 yard freestyle relay Feb. 13 (1:25.66), 400 yard freestyle relay Feb. 15 (3:10.87), 200 yard medley relay Feb. 12 (1:33.00) and the 400 yard medley relay Feb. 14 (3:27.36)...recorded 16 first-place finishes in individual events...won the 200 yard medley relay Nov. 8 vs. Ouachita Baptist (1:40.19), Dec. 7 at the Hendrix Invite (1:33.55),Oct. 26 vs. Rhodes (1:38.55), Jan. 25 in the Principia Panther Invite (3:18.98) and at Ozarks Oct. 12 (1:36.49)...also won the 100 yard medley relay Jan. 24 in the Principia Sprint Invite (44.26)...finished second and third in the 100 yard breaststroke at the SAA Championships...also finished fourth in the 200 yard breaststroke at the SAA Championships and sixth and eighth in the 200 yard individual medley at the SAA Championships...named All-SAA Second Team

2018-19: Set school record in 50 yard breaststroke Feb. 15 (26.43), 100 yard breaststroke Dec. 1 (56.77), 200 yard breaststroke Feb. 16 (2:06.03), 100 yard individual medley Dec. 1 (53.50), part of the 200 yard freestyle relay Feb. 14 (1:26.17 and 400 yard medley relay Feb. 14 (3:27.65)...recorded 15 first-place combined victories in the 50 yard freestyle, 50 yard breaststroke, 100 yard breaststroke, 200 yard breaststroke, 100 yard butterfly, 100 yard individual medley and 200 yard individual medley...earned All-SAA Second Team honors and won SAA Swimmer of the Week twice

2017-18: Set school record in 50 yard breaststroke Feb. 16 (27.06). 100 yard breaststroke Feb. 16 (57.98), 100 yard individual medley Dec. 2 (54.46) and part of the 200 yard freestyle relay Feb. 15 (1:28.25)...carded 13 total first-place victories in the 100 yard freestyle, 100 yard backstroke, 50 yard breaststroke, 100 yard breaststroke, 200 yard breaststroke, 50 yard butterfly, 100 yard IM and 200 yard IM...named to All-SAA First Team

2016-17: Earned All-SAA Second Team honors...broke six individual school records and three relay records as a freshman...broke 50 yard freestyle record in 21.68 as part of a relay at the SAA Championships...finished second in the 100 yard breaststroke and had the fastest prelim time in 58.38...placed second in the 200 yard breaststroke in a record 2:07.73...finished fourth in the 200 yard IM in 1:54.52...also had a school record 55.02 in the 100 IM at Principia and broke the 50 yard breaststroke record in 27.17 as part of a split at the Championships...named SAA Swimmer of the Week on Oct. 5 and Jan. 24

Previous School: Home schooled and attended Pellissippi State Community College in Tennessee..Competed for Tennessee Aquatics...reached finals of state championships...also played water polo and finished second in the state in 2015

Personal: Son of Chris and Sue Melhorn...sister Maggie Melhorn swam for Carson-Newman University...major: Physics with a minor in Music
