Hendrix College Athletics

Emily Daniels enters her first year as a member of the Warriors Swim and Dive coaching staff. She was born and raised in central North Carolina where she was a member of her high school’s inaugural swim team as a freshman. Following her high school career, she swam for Catawba College for 4 years where she participated in the sprint freestyle, 50 free, 100 free, 100 back, and 100 fly. 

Emily earned a degree in business from Catawba College and attended graduate school for Sports Leadership at Northeastern University. She has coached all ages from 6 & under to college swimmers. She spent four years in South Korea as an Aquatics Instructor at Seoul Foreign School, a private k-12 international school. Emily taught swimming as part of the school’s Physical Education curriculum to students from 3 years to 10th grade. In addition to her 15 years of coaching experience, she is a certified strength and conditioning coach.
