Anthony Farris-King begins his second year as an assistant coach for the Warrior track and field team. He primarily works with the horizontal jumpers.
In 2016, King’s jumpers won two conference championships. Victoria Amadi won the women’s triple jump with a mark of 11.81meters (38’9”), while Michael Spainhour won the men’s long jump with a leap of 6.70 meters (21’11.75”) and was the runner up in the long jump. Amadi was also won Division III All-America honors in the triple jump, her 4th award in the event.
King has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas, where he jumped for the Bears track and field team. He was a Division I regional qualifier in the triple jump in 2015.
