Conway native Kayce Moore joined the Hendrix College softball staff as a volunteer assistant in August 2014.

In Moore's first season with the Warriors, they won four consecutive games in the Southern Athletic Association Tournament and advanced to the finals for the first time in program history.

Moore comes to Hendrix after a pitching career at Missouri State Southern University in Joplin, Mo. In the circle for the Lions, Moore appeared in 65 games with 32 starts. She threw 170 innings with 59 strikeouts, six wins and two saves.

Moore was a four-year starter for Conway High School, earning All-Conference as a junior and senior. She was also named to the State Championships All-Tournament Team during her senior year.

Moore graduated from Missouri Southern in 2013 with a degree in Nursing and minor in Biology.

She currently works as a Registered Nurse at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
