Dakota Saeler

DaKota Saeler enters into his 5th full season as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in 2026-27.  Saeler’s primary roles include broadcast, graphics, running the Hendrix Warriors’ social media pages, as well as critical thinking & planning, and spearheaded the re-design of the official website of the Hendrix Warriors in 2024. Saeler is also a member of the College Sports Communicators. 

2025-26 was a banner year for Hendrix Athletics' social media. The Hendrix Warriors Instagram account saw a growth in online presence, with 4 million total views from August to May and nearly 600 new followers during that same period. There was a 43% increase in total views per post and saw 86,000 total interactions. 

Saeler served as the main broadcast producer for the 2025 SCAC Football Championships as well as the lead photographer for the 2026 SCAC Baseball Championships. 

The Hendrix Warrior YouTube Channel also saw an increase in engagement, totaling 11.5 total views from August to May, with a watchtime of 76 hours. The channel added 14 new followers with 42.4k impressions. 

Saeler previously served as a supervisor for the Hendrix Wellness & Athletics Center from 2021-2023.

Prior to Hendrix, Saeler served as an intern for the University of Central Arkansas athletic program, where he worked closely with internal & external affairs. Saeler’s duties included assisting in marketing & promotional planning, social media planning, working in the ticketing office & assisting the Purple Circle Foundation.

Saeler also worked for his alma mater Central Baptist College as a Gameday Operations Assistant for the Mustang’s soccer & basketball programs. His duties included field setup & tear down for soccer matches & operating game clock & shot clock for basketball games, while also stating games.

DaKota is a native of Kingsland, Arkansas, and graduated from Central Baptist College in 2017 with a B.S. in Biblical Studies and graduated from Arkansas State in 2019 with a Master’s in Athletic Administration.

DaKota resides in Conway with his wife, Dr. Katelyn Saeler OTD, OTR/L, their daughter Raeleigh and their dog Kallie.
