Hendrix College Athletics

Sadie Burks enters into her first year as Director of Pawlity Control for the Hendrix College Department of Athletics in 2025-26.

In her role, Burks helps oversee general morale for the athletic department and Hendrix's student-athletes while also assisting Jenn McKenzie '94 with recruiting and retention efforts. 

As part of her quality control duties, Sadie spends most of her time walking the athletic facilities and assisting with the retrieval of all loose tennis and lacrosse balls, as well walking every square inch of Warrior Soccer Field, where her mom, Katy, played soccer during her time at Hendrix. 

Sadie resides in Conway with her parents, Sandy Burks '19 and Dr. Katy Abramowitz '22, and is the goddaughter of Hendrix Director of Athletics Amy Weaver.
