Amy Weaver

Amy Weaver enters her 14th season as Director of Athletics in 2024-25.

During Weaver's tenure, Hendrix brought back football after a 52-year absence, added women's lacrosse, and added beach volleyball, who were crowned the AVCA Small College Beach National Champions in 2023. In 2013, the Warriors opened Young-Wise Memorial Stadium, Sturgis Athletics Center, Hatcher Tennis Center and Warrior Lacrosse Field. Starting with the 2011-12 campaign, Hendrix has appeared in one Final Four, six NCAA Championships and totaled seven conference championships.

Weaver served as Hendrix's head softball coach for 19 seasons (2003-21) and retired from that position with the most wins in program history.

In addition to coaching softball and women's basketball, Weaver served as Director of Athletics at Mercyhurst North East (Pa.) for four seasons (1998-2002).

Weaver served as head softball coach at Division II Mercyhurst (Pa.) for six seasons (1993-98).

Weaver earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Sports Management from Robert Morris in 1990. 

A native of Seneca, Pa., Weaver attended Cranberry High School.
