Freshman guard Taylor Neal averaged 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game as Hendrix went 1-1 during their opening weekend at the Rhodes Tip-Off Classic. The Brady, Texas native made her collegiate debut with 16 points, eight rebounds and a steal in the Warriors’ 70-58 loss to Rust on Saturday. Neal scored 22 points with six rebounds and three steals in Sunday’s 84-62 win against Blackburn. For the weekend, she shot 46.7 percent from the field (14-of-3), 38.5 percent from three-point range (5-of-13) and 83.3 percent at the free throw line (5-of-6).
