Hendrix College Athletics

Sophomore Michael Spainhour broke the Hendrix school record in both the 100 meter and 200 meter dashes at the Rhodes Invitational on Saturday. He broke his own mark set last year in the 100 in in 10.96 seconds, ranking second in the conference and 10^th in the nation. Spainhour, from Greenbrier, Ark., then broke the week-old 200 meter record in 22.41 seconds, also second in the SAA and 13^th in the country.
