Heather Prowse was named the SAA Defensive Player of the Year.

In her senior season, Prowse made an impact as the league's top defender. The Warrior forward started and played in all 25 games for Hendrix. Additionally, she led the black and orange to a 17-8 overall record and a 9-5 mark in SAA play.

On defense, Prowse ranked fourth in rebounds (125), 10th in steals (35) while also finishing with 10 blocks. A versatile player that guarded multiple positions on the floor, Prowse helped Hendrix limit opponents to only 62.3 points per game. The Warriors also ranked fifth in opponents' field-goal percentage (38.1) and steals per game (7.2).
