Sophomore third baseman Brady Newville led the Warriors with a .375 average (6-for-16), two doubles and eight runs batted in as the Warriors went 2-2 during the week. In Tuesday’s loss to #20 UT Tyler, the Edmond, Okla. native recorded a pair of hits and drove in two. At Centre on Saturday, Newville knocked in the first run of a 2-1 victory with a base hit. In Sunday’s come-from-behind 13-6 win over the Colonels, Newville went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and five RBI. Four of the runs knocked in came in the sixth inning when he batted twice and had a pair of doubles in the frame.
