CONWAY, Ark. – The Hendrix College field hockey team suffered a 4-0 defeat to NCAA Division II member Lindenwood University at Warrior Field on Sunday.

The visiting Lady Lions (4-4) outshot the Warriors (5-3) 11-3 and had an 8-0 advantage in shots on goal.

Kristi O'Connor won put LU up 1-0 in the 33rd minute on a penalty stroke. O'Connor then assisted a goal by Emily Stephens in the 45th minute. Lynsey Porter scored a pair of goals – one in the 47th minute and one in the 51st minute. Ana Maria Llosa assisted the Lady Lions' third goal on a penalty corner.

Sophomore forward Erika Jasso took all three shots for Hendrix. Sophomore keeper Betsy Kelly had four saves.

Hendrix will host Southern Athletic Association rival Transylvania on Saturday at noon.
