CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College volleyball team completed the season sweep of Birmingham-Southern with a five set victory at Grove Gymnasium on Sunday afternoon. The host Warriors (13-9, 4-5) topped the Panthers (16-5, 5-4) 24-26, 25-16, 25-13, 22-25, 15-11 in the Southern Athletic Association match.
BSC took the first set, then Hendrix took the next two. The Panthers won the next game to force the deciding set. The Warriors led the entire way in the final frame.
For the match, Hendrix hit .278 with 52 kills, 12 aces, 63 digs and 13 blocks. BSC hit .125 with 52 kills, nine aces, 59 digs and four blocks.

Katie Burchfield recorded her second consecutive double-double with 13 kills and a season-high 18 digs. Freshman middle blocker

Alex Bothe led the Panthers with 18 kills and 16 digs. Meredith Lee had 16 kills and 12 digs.
Hendrix will host Rhodes College in conference action on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
