CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College lost their Southern Athletic Association opener to Centre College 6-0 on the first game at the new turf Warrior Field on Saturday afternoon.
The visiting Colonels (5-0, 2-0 SAA) outshot the Warriors (0-3, 0-1 SAA) 46-3 overall and 30-2 in shots on goal. Centre also held a 23-1 advantage in penalty corners.
Erin Mays and Julie Mays each recorded a goal and an assist for the Colonels and Cole Jordan scored twice. Courtney Kuiper and Ceci Vollbrecht also found the cage.

Lotte Kraaijenbrink both took a shot on goal for Hendrix.
Freshman keeper
Gabryele Pochron came up with 22 saves, the second most in school history for the Warriors, and senior defender
Jennifer Koller had two defensive saves.
Kirby Roberts had two saves in goal for Centre.
Hendrix will host Transylvania University in another conference game on Sunday at noon.
