CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College volleyball team swept a pair of matches from crosstown opponent Central Baptist College at A.R. Redden Fieldhouse on Tuesday night. The Warriors (9-5) defeated the Lady Mustangs (2-8) 25-14, 25-10, 25-14 and 25-16, 25-17, 25-20.
In the opener, Hendrix hit .303 with 30 kills, 11 aces, 36 digs and seven blocks, while CBC hit -.024 with 20 kills, two aces, 35 digs and no blocks.

Grace Griffin hit .500 with seven kills for the Warriors and freshman right side
Natalie Masten had five kills. Freshman middle
Jen Karnes added four kills and three blocks. Junior libero
Ella Concavage-Nasar led the defense with 11 digs and freshman
Leila Matsumoto had nine digs and three aces. Senior setter
Zoe Calhoun recorded eight assists.
The Lady Mustangs were led by Gloria Bell with five kills and Samantha Tillman with eight digs. Tiffani Curtwright had 12 assists and eight digs.
In the second match, the Warriors hit .242 with 38 kills, 10 aces, 42 digs and five blocks. CBC hit .109 with 25 kills, four aces, 35 digs and six blocks.
Karnes hit .421 with 10 kills and four blocks and Griffin had eight kills while hitting .429. Masten chipped in six kills. COncavage-Nasar came up with 14 digs to go with four aces and freshman
Holyn Duyck had 15 assists and six digs.
India Stinson and Kristie SIlor each had six kills for the Lady Mustangs. Curtwright recorded 20 assists and eight digs.
Hendrix will go on the road for a Southern Athletic Association match at Millsaps College on Saturday.
