BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Hendrix College volleyball team went on the road over the weekend for a pair of Southern Athetlic Association matches and came away with a split. On Saturday, the Warriors (10-6, 1-2) fell to Millsaps College (9-6, 2-0) 25-22, 25-12, 25-22, but rebounded to take down Birmingham-Southern College (10-2, 1-2) 25-20, 19-25, 26-24, 25-18 in Alabama on Sunday.
In the win over the Panthers, the Warriors were down 15-14 in the first set, but ended the game with an 11-5 run to set the pace for the match.
In total, Hendrix hit .197 with 46 kills, one ace, 62 digs and 15 total blocks. BSC hit just .096 with 53 kills, six aces, 66 digs and seven blocks.

MC Rogers connected on a season-best 20 kills to go with 11 digs and seven blocks to lead the Warriors. Freshman outside hitter

Jen Karnes added eight kills and seven blocks and freshman setter

Ella Concavage-Nasar led the defense with 15 digs and sophomore
Jill Sikes had 11.
Kathleen Pftizer had 12 kills and Meredith Lee added 11 for the Panthers. Emily Dang recorded 24 assists and Lauren Bedfore had 22 digs.
Against the Majors, Hendrix hit .184 with 24 kills, eight aces, 80 digs and four blocks. Millsaps had 41 kills while hitting .191 with nine aces, 42 digs and three blocks.
Rogers led the Warrior offense with nine kills to go with a season-best 27 digs and three aces. Karnes added six kills and Concavage-Nasar had a career-high 29 digs.
Caroline McKey led the Majors with 15 kills and Casey Brown had 17 digs.
Hendrix will be back in action on Saturday when they host Berry College.
