CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College volleyball team lost to Southern Athletic Association leader Berry College 25-19, 25-20, 25-23 at Grove Gymnasium on Saturday evening.

The visiting Vikings (11-3, 5-0) hit .328 with 54 kills, three aces, 55 digs and six blocks, while the Warriors (10-7, 1-3) hit .243 with 38 kills, four aces, 48 digs and eight blocks.

Freshman outside hitter MC Rogers recorded her fourth double-double of the year for Hendrix with 15 kills and 10 digs to go with four blocks. Senior outside Katie Burchfield connected on nine kills in two sets. Junior libero Ella Concavage-Nasar led the defense with 14 digs and freshman Jen Karnes had four blocks and five kills. Freshman setter Allison Gaia recorded 17 assists and six digs.

Kelsey Lochstampfor led Berry with 15 kills and Katie O'Rourke had 13. Emily Stromberg recorded eight kills and 17 digs and libero Katie Truluck had 11 digs. Stephanie Quinn assisted 44 kills.

The Warriors will return to action on Sunday when they host Oglethorpe University at noon.
