CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's basketball team won their fourth consecutive game by defeating Oglethorpe 71-48 in Southern Athletic Association play at Grove Gymnasium on Friday night.
The host Warriors (7-6, 1-1) led the entire game, taking a 33-19 advantage into halftime. They would expand the lead to as many as 31 points in the second period against the Stormy Petrels (3-10, 1-1).
For the game, Hendrix shot 39 percent (22-of-56) from the field, 6-of-18 from outside and 21-of-36 at the free throw line. OU shot 25.5 percent (14-of-55) overall, 2-of-11 from three-point range and 18-of-30 at the charity stripe. The Warriors held a big 52-35 rebounding edge.

Ali Bleckley led the Petrels with 13 points off the bench. Emily Buck scored 11 points and Kyana Jenkins came up with nine points and nine rebounds.
Hendrix will try to move their winning streak to five games when they host SAA rival Berry College on Sunday at 1 p.m.
