CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's soccer dropped a 3-2 decision in double overtime to Southern Athletic Association foe Millsaps College on Saturday.
The Warriors (1-6-3, 0-1-1) led 2-0 in the first half after goals from senior midfielder
Jacob Pierce and junior forward
Oscar Stjernquist - who's goal was assisted by freshman
Jacob Warren.
The Majors (8-2, 2-0), the two-time defending SAA regular season champions, mounted a comeback with Nico Roth scoring in the 62nd and 70th minutes.
Hendrix had chances to win in the first overtime, with Stjernquist and freshman forward
Daniel Sweeney taking shots on goal. Millsaps finally came through with 2:06 left in the second overtime with Roth's third goal of the game.
For the match, Millsaps outshot Hendrix 27-17, but was only 11-7 on goal. The Majors held a 10-5 advantage in corner kicks.
Hendrix Notes- The game was the fifth to reach double overtime for the Warriors this season.
- Stjernquist's goal was the second of the season. He also took 10 shots in the game.
- Pierce now has four goals on the year.

Millsaps Notes- Lukas Elmhammar assisted two of the Majors' goals.
