TYLER, Texas - The Hendrix College volleyball team wrapped up the regular season with two wins in Texas Saturday. The Warriors (22-8) defeated East Texas Baptist University 25-23, 25-15, 25-22 in the opener, then came from behind to defeat University of Texas at Tyler 23-25, 24-26, 25-19, 25-16, 15-12.
Against the Tigers (20-5), The Warriors hit .134 with 36 kills, five aces, 60 digs and 10 blocks. ETBU, who also received votes in the AVCA Top 25 Poll, hit -.018 with 20 kills, two aces, 57 digs and nine blocks.
The host Patriots (18-10) won the first two sets by a total of five points, but the Orange & Black easily won the next two before taking the deciding set 15-12.Â
Hendrix hit .210 with 69 kills, six aces, 108 digs and 16 blocks. UTT hit .150 with 64 kills, two aces, 110 digs and five blocks.

Lauren Petrisin led Hendrix with nine kills.

Brianna Kelly led the Warriors with 13 digs.

East Texas Baptist Notes- Mallory Sanders led the Tigers with seven kills and 22 digs.
- Reighanna Guzman had nine assists.
- Adaeze Elonu recorded five blocks.
Hendrix Notes vs. UT Tyler- Dylsin broke her own school record with 13 total blocks - two solos and 11 assists. She also had 10 kills.
- Rogers hit her season-highs with 20 kills and 22 digs.
- Sophomore outside
Bradi Ryan had 16 kills, four blocks and a career-high nine digs.
- Petrisin recorded 14 kills and five blocks.
- Gaia registered 38 assists and a career-high 19 digs.
- Duyck added 22 assists and eight digs.
- Senior libero
Felicia Beeman tied Rogers with 22 digs.
UT Tyler Notes- Brieanne Brown led the Patriots with 22 kills and four blocks.
- Aleja Thomas had 11 kills.
- Shabronda Prox led all players with 36 digs.
- Rebecca Floyd had 46 assists and 13 digs.
- Rachel harvey added 18 digs.
Up NextHendrix will be the top seed and host at the Southern Athletic Association Tournament starting Friday against Oglethorpe at 1 p.m.
