CONWAY, Ark. - With the game tied and just 5.7 seconds remaining, Hank Aldous drove the length of the floor, attacking the rim to draw a foul, and sank the game-winning foul shot with just 0.7 seconds remaining to lift the Hendrix College men's basketball team to a 71-70 victory over Southern Athletic Association rival Birmingham-Southern College.

With 3:05 remaining, Hendrix led 68-60, but Larry Thomas and James McLean led BSC on a 10-2 run over the next three minutes to tie the game at 70-70.

After a made free throw to tie the game, Aldous received the ensuing inbound pass in stride, galloped down the court and past his defender to the rim.
