Hendrix Rolls over Pikeville

PIKEVILLE, Ky. - The Hendrix College women's lacrosse team earned a 17-7 win over NAIA affiliate Pikeville College on Thursday afternoon at the Bob Amos Complex. 

Bridget Umble notched seven goals, matching her season-high. Reilly Frazier reached a season-high in goals as well, tallying four on the day. Raychl Reger added three goals while Kaitlyn Smith chipped in with two and Shelby Hill aded one. Jordan Rausch notched two assists while Reger, Hill, and Caitlin Kriesel-Bigler each dished off one.

Gabryele Pochron earned the win in net and was credited with three saves. 

The Warriors started the game on a 4-0 run, holding the Bears scoreless until 10:45 into the contest. Hendrix rattled off seven more goals before the halftime break to take an 11-4 lead into the intermission. 

In the second half, the Orange and Black kept up the pace, feeding Frazier for most of their scores. The freshman midfielder scored all four of her tallies in the second half as the Warriors rolled to a 17-7 victory.

The victory marked the Warriors' fourth of the season, matching their win total from last year with three regular season contests left to play.

Hendrix Notes
- Bridget Umble scored seven goals for the second consecutive game. Her 15 points in the Warriors' last two games is the most over a two-game stretch in program history.
- Kaitlyn Smith continued her multi-goal streak, scoring at least two goals for the sixth straight game.
- Raychl Reger registered her ninth assist of the season. She now owns the single-season record and career record for most assists in program history.

Pikeville Notes
- Pikeville's loss against Hendrix marked the Bears' first home game in program history.
- Taylor Bussell netted four goals, while Lacey Turner added two. Sabrina Elliott was credited with one.
- Rebecca Abbott made six saves in net but took the loss between the pipes.

Hendrix will travel to Danville, Ky. on Saturday to take on Southern Athletic Association foe Centre College. Game time is 10 a.m. CST.
