GREENVILLE, Ill. - The Hendrix College women's soccer team battled Greenville College to a 2-2 double overtime tie on the road Friday night.
The Lady Panthers (2-2-2) got on the board first when Tymber Gabbert assisted Whitney Warner's goal in the 31st minute. The Warriors (4-2-1) tied it up in the 58th minute on a score from sophomore midfielder
Lucy Moore. The tying goal was assisted by freshmen
Macie Stultz and
Evie Cannon.
Hendrix took a lead in the 72nd minute when senior forward
Samantha Lallas connected with Moore for her second goal of the evening. GC tied it a gain in the 85th minute on a Taylor Purkey goal.
Greenville outshot Hendrix 14-6 and 8-4 on goal. The Lady Panthers also had a 3-1 advantage on corner kicks.
Hendrix Notes- Moore's pair of goals were her team-leading eighth & ninth of the year.
- Lallas recorded her fourth assist of the year.
- The assists for Stultz and Cannon were the first of their careers.

Jordan Rausch recorded six saves in goal.
Greenville Notes- Dani Peace assisted the game-tying goal.
- Kency Lopez took four shots, three on goal.
