CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College volleyball team completed a three-set sweep of Sewanee - The University of the South in Southern Athletic Association action at Grove Gymnasium Sunday. The Warriors (9-6, 3-0) topped the Tigers (8-4, 1-2) 25-15, 25-13, 25-23.
In the first set, Hendrix connected on 15 kills and hit .244 while Sewanee hit .000 with six kills. The Warriors dominated set two with 18 kills and .467 percentage.
For the match, the Warriors hit .269 with 47 kills, four aces, 62 digs and six blocks. The Tigers hit .053 with 24 kills, two aces, 48 digs and six blocks.
Hendrix Notes- Junior outside hitter
MC Rogers hit a career-best .600 on 12 kills and no errors in 20 attempts. She also posted seven digs.

Lauren Petrisin had nine kills and hit .304.
- Sophomore middle blocker
Sara Dyslin hit .467 with nine kills and three blocks.
- Junior
Katie Beard recorded five kills and a season-best eight digs.
- Junior middle
Victoria Amadi had four kills and two solo blocks.
- Senior libero
Felicia Beeman ran up 20 digs, the fifth 20+-dig performance this season.

Allison Gaia and
Amber Melcher had 16 assists each
Sewanee Notes- Walker Buxton led Sewanee with nine kills and 11 assists to go with eight digs.
- Diamond Stewart recorded 10 digs and Peyton Parent had 13.
Up NextHendrix will face Birmingham-Southern College and Maryville College at home on Saturday.
