TYLER, Texas – Coming off a win in their season opener against Ozarks, Hendrix College women's soccer went on the road to take on the University of Texas at Tyler Saturday.
Sophomore
Jordan Rausch made 10 saves for the Warriors (1-1), but an early second half goal on a cross and penalty kick in the 84th minute ultimately gave the Patriots (3-0) a 2-0 win.
Senior
Samantha Lallas mustered two shots on goal while sophomore
Lucy Moore and freshman
Sydney Blevins each attempted a shot on goal.
The Warriors took five shots, with four on goal and earned a single corner kick. UT Tyler attempted 40 shots, with 12 on goal and seven corner kicks.
Hendrix Notes- The Warriors began the season with a scoreless streak of 140:02.
- Rausch's 10 saves were the most she's had since Oct. 4, 2014, when she saved 15 shots in a scoreless double overtime draw against Rhodes.
- The Fort Collins, Colo. native registered her fourth career double digit save outing.
- Lallas registered her second attempt on goal this year.
- Blevins attempted her first shot on goal.
- Moore's shot on goal attempt was her team-high third this season.

- Morgan Monzingo scored the first goal for the Patriots.
- Nikki Gordon put in the penalty kick in the 84th minute.
- Keeper Hanna Fischer registered four saves in the shutout.
