Griffith Scores Hat Trick, Warriors Win 4-0

JACKSON, Miss. - The Hendrix College women's soccer team defeated Millsaps College 4-0 in Southern Athletic Association play Friday night.

With the win, the Warriors move to 9-3 on the season and 1-1 in SAA competition. They are one win off the program record of 10 set in 2009 and tied last season.

The Majors fall to 0-8-1 and 0-2.

Freshman Hagan Griffith scored a hat trick, her second of the season. She now leads Hendrix with nine goals this season. Junior defender Maddie Mae Seyer assisted the first goal and sophomore Macie Stultz assisted the third goal for her third assist of the year.

Sophomore Evie Cannon scored the final goal of the game, her fifth of the year.

The shutout was the sixth of the season for Hendrix.

Hendrix will travel to Berry College in Mount Berry, Ga. for another SAA game next Friday.
