JACKSON, Miss. - The Hendrix College men's soccer team lost a Southern Athletic Association game to Millsaps College 5-2 at Harper Davis Stadium Friday night.

The Majors (6-5, 2-0) scored just 32 seconds into the game, but the Warriors (2-8, 0-2) anwered in the 11th minute when freshman forward Seth Jordan netted his second goal of the year on junior Dalton Clement's team-leading third assist.

Millsaps scored three more times in the first half. Hendrix made it 4-2 in the 37th minute when freshman defender Nick Deszo scored his first goal of the year on a pass from senior Ryan Mason.

The Majors added one more goal in the second half for the final 5-2 tally.

Hendrix will return to conference play at Berry College next Friday.
