ATLANTA - The Hendrix College men's soccer team lost to first place Oglethorpe University 3-1 on the road in Southern Athletic Association action Sunday.
The Warriors (2-10, 0-4) scored the first goal of the game in the 23rd minute. Senior midfielder
Ryan Mason drove a free kick into the box which freshman
Patrick Bell knocked in.Â
The Stormy Petrels (4-4-2, 4-0) tied it up in the 30th minute on a Jordan Locke goal. They added another scored just before halftime to make it 2-1 going into the break. OU scored again on in the 81st minute.
Oglethorpe outshot Hendrix 31-8 overall and 13-4 on goal. The Petrels also led in corner kicks 11-2.
Hendrix Notes
- Bell's goal was the first of his career.
- Mason recorded his second assist on the season.

Ryan Stanowski took four shots, two on goal.

Nathan Myers tallied 10 saves and moved into fifth on Hendrix' career list with 182.
