SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Hendrix College women's lacrosse team lost 18-10 at Sewanee - The University of the South in a Southern Athletic Association contest on Saturday afternoon.
Offense was dominant part of the game for both teams. The Tigers (2-2, 1-0) outshot the Warriors (2-3, 0-2) 33-27 overall but just 24-21 on goal.
Sewanee jumped out to an 8-2 lead early in the first half, but Hendrix fought back to make it 12-6 at halftime. The Tigers scored six of the first seven goals of the second period, before the Warriors scored the final three goals of the game.
Sewanee had a 26-19 advantage in ground balls and both teams were even in draw controls.
Hendrix Notes- Junior midfielder
Raychl Reger scored three goals in the game to go with five ground balls and four caused turnovers, which tied her career high.
- Freshman attacker
Morgan Dasch had another impressive offensive performance with two goas and three assists. She leads the SAA with 25 points and 15 assists.
- Sophomore attacker
Bridget Umble, the SAA's leading scorer, also scored three times.

Jesse Clark both scored a goal for the second consecutive game.
- Junior defender
Gabryele Pochron caused three turnovers.
- Sophomore
Kaitlyn Smith led the Warriors with five draw controls.
- Sophomore midfielder
Shelby Hill won four draws, picked up three ground balls and caused a pair of turnovers.
- Freshman keeper
Alexis Truitt recorded five saves in the first half.
Sewanee Notes- Relly King led the Tiger offense with six goals and an assist.
- Katie Riddle had three goals and two assists to go with four ground balls.
- Sydney Beldock also had three goals and two assists.
- Crawford Horan had seven saves in goal in the first half.
Up NextHendrix will take on Birmingham-Southern College at home next Saturday in another league contest.
