CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's lacrosse dominated Piedmont College 18-4 on Crafton-Faulkner Field at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium Wednesday night.
The Warriors (2-4) outshot the Lions (1-5) 69-18 overall and 41-12 on goal. Eleven different players scored a goal for Hendrix and eight had assists.
The Orange & Black led 4-2 after the first quarter and 7-2 at halftime. After six goals in the third, Hendrix took a 13-3 lead. PC scored the first goal of the fourth, but the Warriors netted the final five goals of the game.
Hendrix led 44-25 in ground balls and 15-11 in faceoffs. The Warriors went 13-of-15 on clear opportunities, while the Lions were 11-of-22. Piedmont committed 27 turnovers, 16 of which were caused by Hendrix.
Hendrix Notes- The Warriors' 69 shots were the sixth most in school history.
- Senior attacker
Travis Rabun tied his career high with four goals and had an assist. He also caused three turnovers.
- Freshman
Cole Cramer scored four times, a season high.
- Freshman attacker
Jack Gorman recorded two goals, two assists and led the Warriors with seven ground balls.
- Senior attacker
Zachary Baier scored once and assisted three goals to go along with two cause turnovers.
- Freshmen
Cullen Robinette and
Robert Seguin scored their first goals of their careers. Robinette also had an assist.
- Sophomore midfielder
Jason Blatt had a goal, five ground balls and was 7-of-14 on faceoffs. Blatt reached 200 ground balls for his career and becamse just the third player in school history to reach that milestone.
- Junior midfielder
Alex Ortenstone added a goal and an assist and was 5-of-6 on faceoffs.
- Defensemen
Dominic Dachille and
Thomas Adamo each scored a goal. Dachille also had a season-high five ground balls and caused a pair of turnovers.

Cody Eckes each recorded an assist.
- Freshman
Joe Graves recorded a goal and caused two turnovers.
- Senior
Joe Takacs had seven saves in 47 minutes in goal. Fellow senior
Dennis O'Hara stopped one shot in 13 scoreless minutes.
Piedmont Notes- Gilbert Ibarra, Taylor Carter, Riley Cocks and Steve Miraglia each had a goal for the Lins.
- Cocks went 11-of-24 on faceoffs.
- Carter Jara led PC with six ground balls.
- Keeper Dale Morley recorded 23 saves and four ground balls.
Up NextHendrix will host Susquehanna University on Monday at 4 p.m.
