CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's lacrosse team's win streak ended at four Saturday with a 17-4 Southern Athletic Association loss to Rhodes College at Warrior Field.
The visiting Lynx (9-2, 3-0) built a 7-0 lead over the first seven minutes of the game. The Warriors (6-5, 0-4) picked up goals 12 seconds apart from sophomore
Reilly Frazier and junior
Raychl Reger to make the game 7-2 with 22:01 left in the first half. Rhodes outscored the Warriors 7-1 the rest of the half. Freshman
Jesse Clark scored the Warriors' other goal on
Morgan Dasch's second assist of the game.
The Lynx only scored three times in the second half. Reger scored her second goal of the game with 50 seconds left.
Rhodes outshot Hendrix 33-16 overall and 29-8 on goal. The Lynx had a 29-16 advantage in ground balls, but both teams won 11 draw controls.
Hendrix Notes- Reger's two goals gives her 14 on the year.
