CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's lacrosse team lost to Birmingham-Southern College 9-8 in overtime in a Southern Athletic Association contest on Saturday at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium.
The Warriors (6-8, 2-3) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first 2:40. Freshman defenseman

Jason Blatt won the ensuing faceoff and passed it to sophomore
Thomas Adamo who ripped a shot from the left side 14 seconds later.
The Panthers (10-3, 3-2) got a pair of goals from McHale Schneider with one late in the first and early in the second quarter to make the game 2-2.

Patrick Munn gave Hendrix a 4-2 lead with 3:30 left in the first half. BSC scored on an Evan Lalande goal. Junior
Cody Eckes scored with 59 seconds left to give the Warriors a 5-3 lead at the break.
Both teams managed a goal in the third quarter to make the game 6-4. BSC tied the game 7-7 at the 8:40 mark of the fourth quarter. Freshman midfielder
Cole Cramer put Hendrix up 8-7 with a goal with 7:23 left in regulation. McHale Schneider scored his fourth goal of the game with 23 seconds left to force overtime.
The Panthers won the faceoff to start overtime. After two missed shots, BSC won the game 1:41 into the extra period on a goal from Lalande.
BSC outshot Hendrix 40-27 overall and 24-19 on goal. The Warriors won the ground balls battle 36-32 and faceoffs 11-10. Hendrix forced 14 turnovers, while BSC caused 11.
Hendrix Notes- Rabun led the Warriors with two goals. He leads Hendrix with 31 on the season.
