CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College volleyball team won their sixth consecutive match with 23-25, 25-14, 25-22, 25-17 over Southern Athletic Association rival Berry College at Grove Gymnasium Friday night.
The 20th-ranked Warriors (7-3, 2-0) dropped the first set to the Vikings (7-3, 1-1), but rebounded to easily win the second 25-14. In the third set, the Orange & Black led 22-21 and took the frame with three kills from junior
Lauren Petrisin.
Tied at 10-10 in the fourth, Hendrix went on an 11-1 run to take control 21-11 and eventually won 25-17.
For the match, the Warriors hit .210 with 56 kills, four aces, a season-best 71 digs and 11 blocks. The Vikings hit .105 with 39 kills, 10 aces, 69 digs and 12 blocks.

- Petrisin led Hendrix with a season-high 18 kills, while hitting .472. She also recorded four block assists.

MC Rogers connected on 14 kills and tallied eight digs.

Lauren Dwyer posted her first double-double with 10 kills and a season-best 24 digs.

Sara Dyslin had a season-high seven block assists and seven kills.

Leila Matsumoto registered a season-high 21 digs.

- Jessica Gum led the Vikings with 11 kills and six aces and had five block assists.
- Teagan Holderfield recorded 10 kills.
- Setter Hannah Kate Thompson assisted 37 points.
- Hannah Billiard led the Berry defense with seven block assists.
- Libero Katie Truluck had 23 digs and Elizabeth Ragland had 22.
