CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College field hockey team lost to Centre College 10-1 in Southern Athletic Association action at Warrior Field on Sunday.
The Warriors (2-4, 1-1 SAA) got on the board first when freshman
Grace Shapiro scored on an assist from sophomore
Holly Heeb just 1:08 into the game.
The Colonels (3-3, 1-1 SAA) scored five goals before halftime, then added five more in the second half.
Centre outshot the Warriors 58-8 overall and 44-5 on goal. The Colonels led in penalty corner attempts 15-2.
Hendrix senior
Gabryele Pochron recorded 34 saves, the second most in school history.

- Pochron also moved into seventh place on the NCAA Division III career saves list.
- Shapiro's goal was the third of the season for the freshman.
