CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's soccer team winning streak ended at three games with a 3-1 loss to NCAA Division II member Oklahoma Baptist University at Warrior Field on Monday night.
The Warriors (6-2) got on the board 3:40 into the game when sophomore
Evie Cannon's pass was deflected into the net off a Lady Bison (3-1) defender's foot for an own goal. OBU scored in the 14th and 20th minutes to take a 2-1 lead at halftime.
The game remained 2-1 until Ruth King scored for the second time in the 74th minute, giving the Lady Bison the 3-1 win.
OBU outshot Hendrix 18-10 overall and 11-4 on goal. The Lady Bison led in corner kicks 3-2.
